ARTICLE: THE EFFECT OF FAST FOODS

HELLO READERS!!!

The effect of fast foods.

As the world progresses people do not have time for anything, adults are entirely rapped up in there jobs, as they just want to be successful and give there family a wealthy living and students are now more than ever attending after school classes such as martial arts, singing or dancing lessons. So where does this current living lifestyle leave us with fulfilling our body with the correct nutrients?

Well I can answer this straight away, a huge population of the modern day families are now turning to fast food and ready made meals, as people no longer have time in the day to sit down and cook a meal. But these meals have a devastating effect on not only our body but also our minds. We will now take a look at some major disadvantages from eating this type of food.

The first and most obvious is obesity, it has been stated that one cheeseburger contains more calories than our bodies need to consume in a whole day. Therefore if you make one trip to a fast food outlet and consume 3 burgers, you will be eating a weeks worth of calories in a day. Now imagine you were constantly eating the same meal every day of the week, 3 cheeseburgers a days will equal to 21 cheeseburgers a week, which gives a massive 7 weeks of recommended calories. Now switch this to a month of eating cheeseburgers and you would have already exceeded half a years of calories and this is not even taking into account the fries or drink.

But besides from putting on weight, obesity can have a major ill effect on your health. It is said that obesity is the major cause of chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease and even cancer.

As you probably already know, food directly affects the way in which we think and feel, as junk food is very low in nutritional value and full of preservatives it has led researchers to come to the evaluation that the terrible ingredients can lead to mental disorders such as dyslexia and ADHD.

Eating fast food in moderation is acceptable, eating vegetables and fresh foods should always be your number one priority no matter how busy you may be, your health should be your major concern in life. As no one wishes to spend there time sitting around in a hospital. Remember you only get one life so look after it!

ARTICLE: THE ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF SOCIAL NETWORKING

HELLO READERS!!!

The Advantages and Disadvantages of Social Networking.

Social networking is a recent invention that has the Internet still at the edge of its seat due to its popularity with people. This is mostly because it really is for the people. Bringing every kind of social group together in one place and letting them interact is really a big thing indeed. Everything about it lies on the advantages and disadvantages of social networking, and what it can do for you.

Here are the advantages that can be more than enough for you to want to join in.

Low Costs
Definitely, it's cheaper to use online social networking for both personal and business use because most of it is usually free. While personal use is rather simple for anyone, the business functions are underestimated by many. In a social networking site, you can scout out potential customers and target markets with just a few clicks and keystrokes, adding a boost to your usual advertisements and promotional strategies. It lets you learn about their likes and dislikes, which is tremendous. If you want to fine tune your business, then this is the way to go, whether on a budget or not.

Builds Credibility
You definitely can gain the customers' confidence if you can connect to them on both a personal and professional level. Despite having to do a bit of work, it definitely pays off as you can be tapped for an offer if someone catches wind of your products or services. As long as you don't pursue them too aggressively, you will do well here.

Connections
You are friends with people who have other friends, and so on. There is potential in such a common situation. By using a social networking site, you can do what you can and get connected with these people to form a web of connections that can give you leverage if you play your cards right. As long as you give as well as you recieve, then they will most likely stick with you. These connections are definitely valuable in the long run.

That definitely sounds enticing. However, what about the disadvantages though?

Lack of Anonymity
You are putting out information about your name, location, age, gender, and many other types of information that you may not want to let others know. Most people would say be careful, but no one can be certain at any given time. As long as people can know who you exactly are, then some can find ways to do you in.

Scams and Harassment
There is a potential for failure of security in both personal and business context. While many sites apply certain measures to keep any of these cases of harassment, cyber-stalking, online scams, and identity theft to an absolute minimum, you still may never know.

Time Consuming
If this is not your kind of thing, that it would just be a waste of time for you. The key to social networking is that it is supposed to be fun, whether you are just doing it for kicks or clicking around for business purposes. That should be reasonable enough for anyone, but there are those people who don't see the point. For them, it can be a disadvantage.

Now there is something to really think about. Nothing is without a blemish, but those of this type of networking shouldn't really be that much of a concern regarding your safety. As long as you go along without making big mistakes, then it is all good. You can take advantage of the Internet phenomenon that continues up to this day.

Once you understand the advantages and disadvantages of social networking, then you can cruise through without fail.

ARTICLE: FRIENDSHIP

HELLO READERS!!!

Friendship.

A lot of people go through life with only a few friends. It seems that some have less than that. They have no one on whom they can call in good times or bad. There is no one with whom to bounce ideas around, or to talk about deep and troubling subjects. They have no one to call in times of need or difficulty. They are at the mercy of life, standing alone.

Others seem to have a multitude of friends. Wherever they go, people know them, and like to be around them. Should trouble strike, their biggest hesitation might be over which friend to call. They know exactly the person with whom to discuss the topics of inquiry and debate. Life is full of entertaining and invigorating relationships because it is full of friends.

There ought to be a course in school on friendship. Of course, some people are perfectly happy to operate with fewer friends. They might rather have a few deep and loyal friends, than many superficial ones. Others thrive best when friends are everywhere and numerous. It is not so much the number of friends that is important as is the possession of friends, period.

Friendship is a blessing, and a friend is the channel through whom great emotional, spiritual, and sometimes even physical blessings flow. Friends can cheer us when we’re sorrowful or depressed. Friends can challenge us when we allow ourselves to get beyond our reasonable boundaries. Friends can motivate us when we’re ready to give in, and they can provide for us when life falls apart. They are there when all is well, and we want someone with whom to share life’s pleasant and memorable moments. We often just want them around to have a good time, to laugh, to act silly, to enjoy some mutually liked activity. In how many ways have friends enriched our lives and made us feel loved, accepted, respected and cared for? Probably, too many to list, and the list grows daily.

It is safe to say that when God created the world and all the majestic things in it, when he streaked the heavens with radiant color and the earth with grand mountains and awe-inspiring canyons, when he painted the plains with waving grasses and erected noble forests of towering trees, he outdid it all by creating friends. Why not take a moment or two and thank someone today for being a friend to you?

May God bless you with all the friends you need, and may he turn you into a blessing by using you as a friend to others.

Hasanah Rasidi

ARTICLE: DANGER OF SMOKING

HELLO READERS!!!

Danger of smoking

There are many ways to take tobacco. You can chew it, inhale it through the nose, and smoke it in the form of cigars or cigarettes. No matter how it's taken it is dangerous, but because smoking is the most popular way to consume tobacco it has also received the greatest attention from the medical field and the media.
When a smoker inhales a puff of cigarette smoke the large surface area of the lungs allows nicotine to pass into the blood stream almost immediately. It is this nicotine "hit" that smokers crave, but there is a lot more to smoke than just nicotine. In fact, there are more than 4000 chemical substances that make up cigarette smoke and many of them are toxic.

Cigarette smoke is composed of 43 carcinogenic substances and more than 400 other toxins that can also be found in wood varnish, nail polish remover, and rat poison. All of these substances accumulate in the body and can cause serious problems to the heart and lungs.
Cancer is the most common disease associated with smoking. Smoking is the cause of 90% of lung cancer cases and is related to 30% of all cancer fatalities. Other smoking-related cancers include cancers of the mouth, pancreas, urinary bladder, kidney, stomach, esophagus, and larynx.

Besides cancer, smoking is also related to several other diseases of the lungs. Emphysema and bronchitis can be fatal and 75% of all deaths from these diseases are linked to smoking.

Smokers have shorter lives than non-smokers. On average, smoking takes 15 years off your life span. This can be explained by the high rate of exposure to toxic substances which are found in cigarette smoke.

Smokers also put others at risk. The dangers of breathing in second-hand smoke are well known. Smokers harm their loved ones by exposing them to the smoke they exhale. All sorts of health problems are related to breathing in second-hand smoke. Children are especially susceptible to the dangers of second-hand smoke because their internal organs are still developing. Children exposed to second-hand smoke are more vulnerable to asthma, sudden infant death syndrome, bronchitis, pneumonia, and ear infections.

Smoking can also be dangerous for unborn children. Mothers who smoke are more likely to suffer from miscarriages, bleeding and nausea, and babies of smoking mothers have reduced birth weights or may be premature. These babies are more susceptible to sudden infant death syndrome and may also have lifelong health complications due to chest infections and asthma.

It is never too late to give up smoking, even those who have smoked for 20 years or more can realize tremendous health benefits from giving up the habit.

ARTICLE: AIR POLLUTION

HELLO READERS!!!

Air Pollution.

Every day, the average person inhales about 20,000 liters of air. Every time we breathe, we risk inhaling dangerous chemicals that have found their way into the air.

Air pollution includes all contaminants found in the atmosphere. These dangerous substances can be either in the form of gases or particles.

Air pollution can be found both outdoors and indoors. Pollutants can be trapped inside buildings, causing indoor pollution that lasts for a long time.

The sources of air pollution are both natural and human-based. As one might expect, humans have been producing increasing amounts of pollution as time has progressed, and they now account for the majority of pollutants released into the air. Air pollution has been a problem throughout history. Even in Ancient Rome people complained about smoke put into the atmosphere.

The effects of air pollution are diverse and numerous. Air pollution can have serious consequences for the health of human beings, and also severely affects natural ecosystems.

Because it is located in the atmosphere, air pollution is able to travel easily. As a result, air pollution is a global problem and has been the subject of global cooperation and conflict.

Some areas now suffer more than others from air pollution. Cities with large numbers of automobiles or those that use great quantities of coal often suffer most severely from problems of air pollution.

ARTICLE: PLASTIC SURGERY

HELLO READERS!

Plastic surgery is a special type of surgery that can involve both a person's appearance and ability to function. Plastic surgeons strive to improve patients' appearance and self-image through both reconstructive and cosmetic procedures.Plastic surgery and cosmetic surgery treatments require educated decision-making. You need to know who are the best candidates for each plastic surgery procedure, the recovery time after plastic surgery and appropriate expectations.
Many men and women consider getting plastic surgery due to many perceived imperfections or flaws in their body. On the other hand there are also some individuals who really need operations to improve and restore the function and form of their bodies. There are so many advantages and disadvantages under the different procedures that fall under it. At the same time, they don’t know or don’t think bout the effects in their future life. Plastic surgery has the advantage and disadvantage when someone who addict to be beautiful and it will waste money actually.

Sometimes, if you think carefully if you do a plastic surgery, you take big risks because you will take the facts whether the process are good or worst. These are some of the people who facing with the worst plastic surgery.

(1) Hang Mioku:

imageimage

Hang Mioku: the korean plastic surgery addict who injected cooking oil into her own face. One of the most famous cases of awful plastic surgery gone wrong, Hang Mioku, a 48 year-old woman from South Korea, became so addicted to plastic surgery that she was left unrecognisable after her obsession led her to inject cooking oil into her face. She had her first plastic surgery procedure when she was 28. Following operation after operation, her face was eventually left enlarged and disfigured, and the surgeons she visited refused to carry out any more work on her and one suggested that her obsession could be a sign of a psychological disorder. So Hang resorted to injecting cooking oil into her face. It became so grotesquely large that she was called "standing fan" by children in her neighbourhood - due to her large face and small body. During the first procedure surgeons removed 60g of foreign substance from Hang's face and 200g from her neck.

(2) Michael Jackson:

image

Our love pop artist, Michael Jackson. He doing a lot of nose injection and change his skin tone to white. He hates to be a Nigerian people. He loves to be like American people, white and fair skin. Now, as you can see, his faces change it like a monster. As we can see, plastic surgery is depending. If you lucky, you will get a handsome or beautiful skin and your surgery was success, but if you unlucky, your surgery will be worst. All people will look down with you. But as you can see, the western artist always do this plastic surgery because want to attract audience and be glamour in the easier. Poor for them.

(3) Jocelyn Wildenstein

image

Maybe you don’t know who is Jocelyn. She is the late 70’s beautiful women named Jocelyn Wildenstein. Jocelyn really had it made. She was a fresh-faced mother of two and married to an extremely rich art dealer. That is until she caught her husband in bed with a 21 year old Russian model. Not Jocelyn Wildenstein! Instead she decided to win back her husbands love and make herself more beautiful by going under the knife. Well, her husband left her anyways, but Jocelyn will always have her plastic surgeon. spent almost US$4,000,000 on cosmetic surgery over the years, ending up as one of the worst and most famous cases of plastic surgery addiction. Maybe if we are rich, we don’t waste our money to do stupid thing like this. Are you agree with me?

(4) Donatella Versace

image

Since taking over for her brother Gianni Versace, platinum blonde fashion designer Donatella Versace has gone through some drastic changes thanks to awful plastic surgery, turning herself into a caricature. Although nose jobs are usually done to make a nose smaller, Donatella’s has grown larger over the years. It is also wider and flatter and slightly crooked, indicating that at least one bad nose job took place. In addition to her big nose, Donatella also has large lips, like the trout pouts of the Hollywood divas the designer dresses. Although the fashion icon has always had big lips, the oversized upper lip indicates that fillers, like collagen, have been used liberally. For a 53-year old, Donatella’s skin is very firm, indicating a possible facelift. She probably also uses dermal injectables like Botox to eliminate wrinkles, even when she smiles. Her tight face is a strong contrast to the loose skin on the rest of her body. And yes, Donatella’s weight loss also revealed her breast implants.
For my opinion, the worst thing is for the women. They obsess a lot to be beautiful and sexy. They don’t know actually look before surgery is fine and beautiful compare than after surgery. For the women, especially in Western, the love to make a silicon surgery on their breast. Sometimes if really look fake and not nice, but they proud when they get what they want. Sometimes they don’t think about the effects. Example like Versace, she look like skinny or “burn squid”. Is that beautiful?

For the coclusion, we must think carefully before we want to make something because it was permanence. You can’t change it because you already decide it. And for the plastic surgery cost it not cheap. It’s too expensive. Sometimes it looks like freaky. Sometimes, if you have a sensitive skin, you cannot do the surgery because it will affect you in the future. How about you saving your money with do something good for your life. For your information, plastic surgery also can make you possibility to die because it will connect with you blood temperature and your heart attacks. So please love your life. And the last one, the result not always happy because sometimes it will be the worst because something problem with the medic or your body. So I hope we throw thinking about want to make a plastic surgery. How about you appreciate what you have and love yourself. And the important thing is you may choose an inexperienced doctor, or like some have, with a dentist that has been trained to do minor surgeries (I'm not joking, this has happened and people have died). The scars may not heal properly or may not heal at all. They may have trouble stopping the bleeding, the scars may be crooked, you may turn out looking nothing like you planned to, you may become addicted to the surgeries. Make sure you have a licensed plastic surgeon with experience. Do your research. Don't go for cheap when you're having any kind of surgery. You could die!

ARTICLE: HARI RAYA AIDILFITRI

Article: Hari Raya AidilFitri

For your information Eid, is an important religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide that marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting (sawm). The religious Eid is a single day and Muslims are not permitted to fast that day. The holiday celebrates the conclusion of the 29 or 30 days of dawn-to-sunset fasting during the entire month of Ramadan. The day of Eid, therefore, falls on the first day of the month of Shawwal. This is a day where Muslims around the world try to show a common goal of unity.
Before the advent of Islam in Arabia, there is mention of Eid festivals as well as some others among the Arabs. The Israelites had festivals as well, but as is evident from the Old Testament and other scriptures, these festivals related more to commemorating certain days of their history.Eid al-Fitr was originated by the Islamic prophet Muhammad. It is observed on the first of the month of Shawwal at the end of the holy month of Ramadan, during which Muslims undergo a period of fasting.

In my experience, my mother will wake me up and dress me with a new cloth called baju kurung. They said because it’s your brand new day and it wills your new page for you to change from bad to good child. Its was a brand new history for Muslim people. After settle dressing, we will go to mosque to prayer that called Aidifitri prayers. While that, my mother will make the preparation, cooking ketupat, lodeh, and my sister will put the cookies to the Tupperware cookies to serve to the guest when they coming. After we all back from mosque, we will standby to apology our parents with all our mistakes that we make in whole life. Then our family wills forgiveness each other. After settle all that, we will go to the grave and pray for our relatives who have death. We will read yassin and pray goodwill for them there. After that we will go to our relatives to apologize and strengthen for our connection.

Eid is a platform to Muslim to relate their relationship each other. Actually, hari raya aidilfitri is for :
  • To show happiness
  • To give as much charity as is possible
  • To forgive and forget
  • To raise a goodwill
  • To make a good relationship with other people
  • To appreciate
  • To raise to Allah

In other perception, Eid al-Fitr marks the end of the fasting month of Ramadan. This has to do with the communal aspects of the fast, which expresses many of the basic values of the Muslim community; e.g., empathy for the poor, charity, worship, steadfastness, patience etc. Fasting is also believed by some scholars to extol fundamental distinctions, lauding the power of the spiritual realm, while acknowledging the subordination of the physical realm. It also teaches a Muslim to stay away from worldly desires and to focus entirely on the Lord and thank Him for his blessings. It is a rejuvenation of the religion and it creates a stronger bond between the Muslim and his Lord. After the end of Ramadan, is a big celebration of Eid.

For the conclusion, eid’ul fitr is the ceremony for the muslim to celebrate for winning fasting on Ramadhan month and syawal they will celebrate with the happiness. The happier person is the kids because they can go to the other house that they don’t know to collect money from house to house. And the owner house will serve them with the cookies and drinks because it’s just like you alms for your good life. Actually, eid ul fitr is a happiness day because they can tied the relationship with each other.

ARTICLE: CLASSIC INDIAN TRADISIONAL DANCE

HELLO READERS!

Indian classical dance is a relatively new umbrella term for various codified art forms rooted in Natya, the sacred Hindu musical theatre styles, whose theory can be traced back to the Natya Shastra of Bharata Muni (400 BC).
·         Dances performed inside the sanctum of the temple according to the rituals were called Agama Nartanam. Natya Shastra classifies this type of dance form as margi, or the soul-liberating dance, unlike the desi (purely entertaining) forms.
·         Dances performed in royal courts to the accompaniment of classical music were called Carnatakam. This was an intellectual art form.
For lack of any better equivalents in the European culture, the British colonial authorities called any performing art forms found in India as "Indian dance". Even though the art of Natya includes nritta, or dance proper, Natya has never been limited to dancing and includes singing, abhinaya (mime acting). These features are common to all the Indian classical styles. In the margi form Nritta is composed of karanas, while the desi nritta consists mainly of adavus.

The term "classical" (Sanskr. "Shastriya") was introduced by Sangeet Natak Akademi to denote the Natya Shastra-based performing art styles. A very important feature of Indian classical dances is the use of the mudra or hand gestures by the artists as a short-hand sign language to narrate a story and to demonstrate certain concepts such as objects, weather, nature and emotion. Many classical dances include facial expressions as an integral part of the dance for.

At the same time a dance style is classical to the extent it incorporates the Natya Shastra techniques. Some of the styles such as Kathak use very few elements found in Natya Shastra. Other art dances yet to be conferred as classical dances, whose theories and techniques can also be traced back to the Natya Shastra are:
  1. Andhra Natyam - Telugu art dance
  2. Vilasini Nrityam/Natyam - Telugu art dance
  3. Kerala Natanam - Kerala classical dance

It’s so hard because we must have the passion or instinct with their traditional music. As you know, our chorographer Indian traditional dance Ramli Ibrahim, and as you who he also certificate from International Dance Festival presented by ICCR (Indian Council for Cultural Relations) in New Delhi, 2010. So he is the star of Malaysian. We will proud with him.

ARTICLE: INTERNET

HELLO READERS!

The Internet is a global system of interconnected computer networks that use the standard Internet protocol suite (often called TCP/IP, although not all applications use TCP) to serve billions of users worldwide. It is a network of networks that consists of millions of private, public, academic, business, and government networks, of local to global scope, that are linked by a broad array of electronic, wireless and optical networking technologies. The Internet carries an extensive range of information resources and services, such as the inter-linked hypertext documents of the World Wide Web (WWW) and the infrastructure to support email.
Most traditional communications media including telephone, music, film, and television are reshaped or redefined by the Internet, giving birth to new services such as Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and Internet Protocol Television (IPTV). Newspaper, book and other print publishing are adapting to Web site technology, or are reshaped into blogging and web feeds. The Internet has enabled and accelerated new forms of human interactions through instant messaging, Internet forums, and social networking. Online shopping has boomed both for major retail outlets and small artisans and traders. Business-to-business and financial services on the Internet affect supply chains across entire industries.
The origins of the Internet reach back to research of the 1960s, commissioned by the United States government in collaboration with private commercial interests to build robust, fault-tolerant, and distributed computer networks. The funding of a new U.S. backbone by the National Science Foundation in the 1980s, as well as private funding for other commercial backbones, led to worldwide participation in the development of new networking technologies, and the merger of many networks. The commercialization of what was by the 1990s an international network resulted in its popularization and incorporation into virtually every aspect of modern human life. As of 2011 more than 2.2 billion people—nearly a third of Earth's Human population—used the services of the Internet.[1]
The Internet has no centralized governance in either technological implementation or policies for access and usage; each constituent network sets its own standards. Only the overreaching definitions of the two principal name spaces in the Internet, the Internet Protocol address space and the Domain Name System, are directed by a maintainer organization, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN). The technical underpinning and standardization of the core protocols (IPv4 and IPv6) is an activity of the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF), a non-profit organization of loosely affiliated international participants that anyone may associate with by contributing technical expertise.

image
The internet

History:

Internet is a short form of the technical term internetwork, the result of interconnecting computer networks with special gateways or routers. Historically the word has been used, uncapitalized, as a verb and adjective since 1883 to refer to interconnected motions. It was also used from 1974 before the Internet, uncapitalized, as a verb meaning to connect together, especially for networks. The Internet is also often referred to as the Net.
The Internet, referring to the specific entire global system of IP networks, is a proper noun and written with an initial capital letter. In the media and common use it is often not capitalized: "the internet". Some guides specify that the word should be capitalized as a noun but not capitalized as an adjective.
The terms Internet and World Wide Web are often used interchangeably in everyday speech; it is common to speak of going on the Internet when invoking a browser to view Web pages. However, the Internet is a particular global computer network connecting millions of computing devices; the World Wide Web is just one of many services running on the Internet. The Web is a collection of interconnected documents (Web pages) and other resources, linked by hyperlinks and URLs. In addition to the Web, a multitude of other services are implemented over the Internet, including e-mail, file transfer, remote computer control, newsgroups, and online games. Web (and other) services can be implemented on any intranet, accessible to network users.

PROS AND CONS OF THE INTERNET:

One of the advantages of using Internet is that we can find every information we want to. The thing we are searching will be for sure found in one of the millions of pages. What is more, the searching process is very short and the Internet portals like 'YAHOO' and 'AltaVista' are created to help us with it. In addition, if we have the Internet at home, we don't have to go to the libraries. In this way, we are sparing our priceless time. Another advantage is that we can communicate almost with everyone through the Net with help of e-mails and messengers. It's cheaper and faster than the normal mail.

On the other hand, the disadvantages are a serious problem for today's world. The Internet is causing one of the worst diseases - the Internet addiction. People are wasting their time taking part in the useless chats. However, it's good because we can talk with almost everyone from the furthest sides of our planet, but on sum
mary - it's not worth spending our time. In addition, if we don't have the ADSL*, we spend too much money on the modem connection. There is also a danger for the teens because of the presence of paedophiles on the Net and lot of pages, which includes the videos for adults.

Surfing the internet for information

ISSUES ABOUT THE INTERNET:

Issues of the internet :

  • Gambling
  • Social network
  • Porn sides

This is the worse of the issues in the internet because it will influence our generation to surfing the internet with this bad thing. Actually, internet have good example like give the information, can fine friend in a whole world, can teach us like find the word that we don’t know means online dictionary and lastly we can watch movie with free or download movie or songs that we like. Then, kids also can go to tutor website about subject at school only in internet.

But at the same times, bad thing about internet is people can abuse when they surfing internet like surf porn website, gambling and cheating people with “skim cepat kaya”. People will trust because they crazy want to become rich in easy way. But they don’t know that the cheater just want to play with them. Other thing is, the worse thing is people can cheat when they chatting. Example like, wasting time go chatting and cheat girls/boys to raise what they want. its so cruel. Sometimes, it will wasting time and don’t give profit to us.

To sum up, the Internet is very necessary but we have to learn how to use it and avoid all the dangers of usage. We should remember that it's only a source of information and not a way to search for serious friendship. At the same time, for the parents they must watch their child from surfing a bad website because they will influence children mind and our generation from wasting their time with a worse thing. So, they have a pros and cons from the internet but we don’t judge book by its cover. And we must use the internet in a good way.
