Homestay Kampung Janda Baik, Bentong, Pahang

Janda Baik is another Malay village offering homestays. Nestled on the Titiwangsa range. It is a highland retreat offering cool and refreshing air and virtually untouched forests. It is also the favourite picnic spot to the people of Klang Valley because of its crystal clear streams and rivulets. Surely it is a beautiful experience. Its strategic location has made this place a popular destination amongst the peoples of Kuala Lumpur.
Located in the vicinity of Bukit Tinggi in the District of Bentong, it is 38 kilometers from Bentong town and of same distance from Kuala Lumpur. There is no bus service to kampung Janda Baik. You may hire a taxi from Kuala Lumpur or Bentong to sent you to this place.
From Kuala Lumpur, a 40-minutes drive will takes you along the Kuala Lumpur – Karak highway to the village.
Interesting holiday packages are available for the day stay, two days one night stay, three days two night stay and more.
Activities available during your stay will include cultural shows, tradisional food preparation, mountain climbing, guided jungle trekking, fishing, visiting hot springs, waterfalls, Malay art of self-defence ( Silat) and fruit orchards.
‘Lenggang Kangkong’ and ‘Tarian Piring’ are presented to the visitors as well as local delicacies such as Gulai Siput Sedut,Bubur Tepung Beras,Baulu,Taufufa and Kueh Loyang.
