world and Diablo 3 is the newest product from Blizzard and was highly
anticipated by serious gamers. The game was brilliant and epic as it brings
many new contents to the world of gaming.
Diablo
3 is the advance version of Titan Quests with new features and exciting
gameplay.
There
were a lot of new changes made, let alone the graphics and also Diablo 3 offers
new gaming experience, fast paced action that made this game entirely fresh and
better than its predecessors.
The
price is RM218 which is a little expensive for some compared to Diablo 2 which
is only RM20 and for instance, Orange Internet Café has an offer where you can
get a free t-shirt if you purchase Diablo 3 package from them!.
As we
know, Diablo 3 is known for its rich contents and gameplay. Let’s have a look

Ariff Muhd, 19, a Diablo 3 player, said “Based
on my experience, Diablo 3 introduced new kind of resource that is power
resources, a limited reserve of strength that lessens whenever you cast skills
and each character use different power resource unlike in the previous game,
Diablo 2, which all characters use the same kind of resource, mana.
He added “The newly
introduced paragon levels let me earn experience over level 60 even though it’s
the max level which I think is a nice touch. Besides that, I find out my character
portrait changes every 10 paragon levels which is a good addition.
“Another
new feature I like is skill changing system. Allowing me to change skills frequently. Besides that, there is new feature called the skill runes. Based on
my experience, the skill rune may change the function and animation of a skill,
allowing me to have diversity skill builds. I love that.” he ended.
Another Diablo 3 player and also a staff at Tbun Network Café, Muhd
Syafiq, 21 said “As a fan, the new feature called health globes is one of my
favorite because it can refill my character’s health points for a several
amount.
He explained "As I aware, dangerous foes will drop more potent, larger health globes
and I do not worry if there is no health globes dropped because I can also have
health potions in my inventory by getting them from the merchants in town.
He continued “Besides
that, a new content that caught my interest is the healing well. When I touch
it, it completely replenishes my health points. In my opinion, it is an advance
version of health globes.
“Interestingly,
the existing feature, the followers, has been given a nice touch. They can
learn skills, a new feature which does not exist in Diablo 2. However, I can
only pick one of three followers.
He added “Whenever using a range character, I always pick Templar as my follower
because he can tank and heal me. However, with a melee class, I would get
enchantress or scoundrel instead. I love both because enchantress has magic
spells while scoundrel can hit from far distance.
“For
party system, it has been optimized. I can invite my friend to join my game and
earn achievements together.” he ended.

New
Classes
There
are 5 classes, barbarian, the existing character and the newcomers, wizard,
monk, witch doctor and demon hunter. Let’s get to know them:
Barbarian
– A massive, heavily armored warrior, a guardian who was once guarded the
sacred Mount Arreat. Barbarian is known for his brute strength and wields two
handed weapons like two-handed axe and two-handed sword. His main resource is
fury that builds up whenever you are taking or dealing damage.
Wizard
– A powerful arcane user who can control time and was recognized as the master
of element and possessed the power of elements to deal massive damages to their
enemies. They wield orbs, staffs and wands as their weapon. Invokes magic
extraordinary fast with arcane power.
Witch
doctor – Uses the power of the spirits of Unformed Land, summoning creatures
from their resting place. The witch doctors are specializing in summoning and
cursing like summoning dogs and gargantuan to aid them in battle. Witch doctors
use Mana as their power resource, a spiritual energy that slowly generates over
time.
Demon
Hunter - A survivor of demonic attacks, who has dedicated to rid the evils in
the Sanctuary. Demon hunter possesses
the powers of kiting and dealing damage from far distance. They use range weapons
such as bows and crossbows and their power resource is hatred and discipline.
Monk -
A holy warrior, servant of the divine who wields deadly weapon and possesses
the power of accuracy and speed. They wield melee weapon such as long staff.
Monk’s resource is spirit that will generate whenever a monk landed an attack
to the enemies.
All
of them are fun to use and you may build them in diverse ways. Choose what is
appeal to you and fits your play style.

Conclusion
The
writer feels that Diablo 3 is a promising hack and slash game that offers
exciting game play, endless of fun and diversity of character builds.
Unlike
its predecessors, Diablo 3 offers new contents, interesting gameplay and organized
party system.
Overall,
this game feels very enjoyable and you would probably end up addicted to it in
