Food: Asam Pedas.


HELLO READERS!

‘Asam Pedas’ is very popular in Malacca. Actually, each state have their own ways to cooked Asam Pedas but in Malacca it is popular because they have their own secret recipes. So, I planned to go and try Hajjah Mona Asam Pedas Taman Kota Laksamana, Melaka. Frankly speaking, when I arrived, the restaurant was full with peoples. I takes an advantages to interviews and know more about the restaurant. According to the restaurant's owner story, Alizah Bachik, 44, her restaurant was established almost 25 years since 1997. It is consider as a family business and the Asam Pedas was cooked by her husband. They have five types of Asam Pedas such as Asam Pedas Tetel, Pari, Kembung, Parang, and Jenahak. When I was there, I was served with a set of Asam Pedas Ikan Parang including a plate of rice with fried bean sprouts and salted eggs. Each set will cost you, RM6.50 ONLY and it is very cheap. I suggest you guys to try the Asam Pedas because for me it is so delicious and extremely yummy. I've tried and it is very very delicious.
